Introduction
The Plant Engineers Council is a group focused on engineering in manufacturing plants. This council is particularly interested in studying best practices and reducing manufacturing costs. The Plant Engineers Council meet six times throughout the year and often tours member facilities. The Council also has a nice dinner together to network and learn from each other's experiences. Meetings are typically on the third Thursday of the month.

- Energy efficient motors/drives, etc.
- Future of Manufacturing in NYS, New Technology
- Plant Security
- Environmental Compliance
- Wastewater Treatment Plant Optimization
- Arc Flash Hazard Assessment

- Emergency Generators
- Scrap metal recycling/disposal
