RE: Monthly Meeting Notice: Employee Satisfaction Surveys
WHEN: Friday, April 11, 2008 (7:30 AM Networking; 8:00AM -9:30 AM Program)
Employee Satisfaction Surveys are an effective method for finding out what employees think and feel about the company, about their jobs, and about their working conditions. The survey is a proven management tool which can be used to determine specific policies, practices or conditions that are focal points of employee dissatisfaction or irritation, assess training needs, and develop action plans to address issues such as low morale, poor communication and high turnover.
Anne Kassel, Vice President of Human Resource Services at MACNY, will discuss:
• How to create the survey. • Various ways to conduct the survey. • Who should be involved. • How to interpret the results of the survey. • Benchmarking. • What to do with information provided by the survey.
Mylissa Deetz, Human Resource Manager for Sturges Manufacturing, will discuss:
• Why they conducted their Employee Satisfaction Survey. • What results they received from the survey. • How they used that information to improve the moral of the organization.
