Introduction
Providing a safe and healthy workplace is one of the key priorities in business today. Not only is it mandated, but it generates a high return to dedicated companies, both in the retention and satisfaction of your employees and the efficiency gained from a healthy and safe workforce.
The Safety Council consists of safety professionals and individuals within firms dedicated to providing safe work environments. The Council conducts programming and tours providing best practices to leverage within participants businesses.

NEW -- Back Protection Presentations for March 21st event
OSHA Alliance
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and The Manufacturers Association of Central New York (MACNY) have formed an Alliance to use their collective expertise to help foster a culture of prevention while sharing best practices and technical knowledge. This Alliance has provided several interesting opportunities for MANCY Members including low cost mandated training, and free safety audits to small manufacturers.
