Issues surrounding employee leaves of absence continue to be a thorn in the side of employers. Of particular concern are the various requirements set forth in the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the NY Paid Family Leave Law, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the workers’ compensation laws.
In this session, we will discuss the interplay between these laws regarding employee leave and other issues, and we will offer guidance to ensure that your company complies with all legal obligations while still maintaining an efficient and effective workplace.
