Founded in 1870, Crucible has been making specialty steel in the Syracuse community continuously since 1876, and is one of MACNY’s earliest members, joining the Association in 1914. Founded on a tradition of metallurgical expertise and technological innovation, Crucible has been granted over 1000 patents through its long history. The company continues to remain a globally competitive market leader, despite the many challenges it has endured over the years due to international competition. Come tour this impressive specialty steel facility and learn more about this Syracuse success story in manufacturing sustainability, innovation, legacy and growth.
*All attendees must wear leather boots or shoes that are required for safety. Please bring safety glasses if you have your own, otherwise they will be provided for you.*

For registrant cancellations, MACNY requires a 48-hour notice prior to any event or program for a refund to apply. If the cancellation does not happen prior to the 48 hours, MACNY will bill for the entire cost of the event or program.
