DESCRIPTION:A college and career exploration day at the zoo. \nJoin us at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo for a day of hands-on activities\, learn about higher education and employment opportunities in the STEM field in CNY. \nCome ready to explore everything STEM…from animals to engineering\, and everything in between! Don’t forget to see the animals while you are here too! \nThe purpose of this day is to allow zoo visitors to have hands-on exploration of STEM careers. We are hoping by hosting the event at the zoo and inviting students from Syracuse to attend that we will advance diversity\, equity and inclusion in STEM by exposing and sharing the vast opportunities in the field. \nVisitors can meet with college and business representatives to discuss programs and explore passions through various activities. There will also be opportunities to meet with zoo representatives about careers and volunteering.
