Quality Professionals Council: Organizational Knowledge and Succession Planning

We have all experienced the loss of a valuable go-to person in our past and/or may have been the new person in a business seeking to quickly learn the products and the processes used in their development. Was this done well? Was it lacking in some way? Did you have to figure it out on your own? What process does your business use in succession planning or critical process information capturing?

The ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System standard added emphasis on the subject of Organizational Knowledge to ensure the continued operation of its processes and to achieve conformity of products and services.

In this session, we will review the requirements of the standard and have a panel discussion on the processes in place at a few area companies. We would encourage sharing by all participants. Please join us and discuss ways we can all improve our control over Organizational Knowledge.
