ARE YOU A WOMAN LOOKING TO START A NEW CAREER PATH?

Have you ever wondered how something was made? Do you want a career in a growing tech industry?

This 72-hour course introduces a wide range of manufacturing processes, including safety, CNC Machining, hand tool usage, robotics, and lean manufacturing. Training will include skills that will help you grow professionally.

COURSE DETAILS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES


No cost to participate.

Classes run September 19th – December 14th on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 – 5:15 PM.

Tuesday classes are in-person at Mohawk Valley Community College – Rome Campus.

Thursday classes are online.

A $1,000 stipend will be given to participants that complete the course.

In this course, you will learn interview skills, how to set-up your LinkedIn account, and visit local manufacturer sites.
