U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer will announce today that a Syracuse area trade group has won a major federal grant to train workers for advanced manufacturing.

MACNY, The Manufacturers Association and Partners for Education & Business, Inc. recently hosted their 2024 Workforce Development Awards. As part of the ceremony, MACNY hosted their first-ever apprentice signing with four team members.

The 2024 Workforce Development Awards recognized the accomplishments of students and registered apprentices pursuing an education or careers in manufacturing and other industries.
