Did you know that the month of October is recognized by New York State as the statewide celebration of manufacturing? MFG Month provides manufacturers with an opportunity to open their doors to students, educators, and community leaders to showcase innovative technology, demonstrate how local products are made, and inspire the next generation to pursue careers in manufacturing.
This year, our team at MACNY, The Manufacturers Association, will be kicking off our month-long celebration on Wednesday, October 1st with weekly tours and hands-on activities with companies across Central New York and the Mohawk Valley. This is an opportunity for manufacturers to spotlight their facilities and to engage high school students by igniting their interest in local manufacturing careers.
