Byrne is a fourth-generation, family-owned dairy and beverage processor. In addition to their extensive private label capabilities, they produce their own products under the Byrne Dairy label. Byrne currently has three manufacturing facilities in Central New York, including an extended shelf-life (ESL) and ultra-high temperature (UHT) pasteurization plant in DeWitt, a manufacturing facility located in Cortlandville, and an ice cream center located in Syracuse. Byrne also has warehouse facilities in Syracuse and East Syracuse, and the company’s corporate headquarters are in LaFayette.

Located at the Fulton Campus, Cayuga Community College’s Advanced Manufacturing Institute (AMI) is a 7,600 square-foot facility focused on training the next generation of industrial maintenance and electrical technicians.  The college offers the span of instruction, from two-year associate degrees to short-term training programs that prepare students for careers in advanced manufacturing. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on training, and the facility is fully equipped to support training in hydraulics, pneumatics, motor controls and automation.  The Fulton AMI was constructed in close partnership with local manufacturing leaders in the region, who played a key role in equipment selection, facility design, and curriculum development.

JPW has been a part of many significant projects, such as Phase 2 of the JMA Wireless Dome roof, the JWST project with NASA, acting as a sub-fabricator for the Buffalo Bills Stadium, and the Rochester Airport Entrance Canopies, among others.
