Covanta Onondaga, operator of the Onondaga Resource Recovery Facility, was recently recognized as “Business of the Year” by the Partners in Business and Education (PEB) at its Annual Awards and 25th Anniversary Celebration. PEB is a partnership between the Manufacturers Association of Central New York (MACNY), Syracuse Public Schools and local businesses.

G. A. Braun was recently awarded P-TECH Program’s partnership of the year. The P-TECH program (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) provides students with a pathway to achieve a degree in mechanical technology or electrical engineering technology within a five-year timeframe, with dual enrollment in a progressive high school curriculum and college courses.
