MACNY Councils offer members the chance to meet and learn from their peers from hundreds of other Upstate New York companies.

This council consists of individuals responsible for growth within their organizations. Professionals from sales, marketing, product development, and research and development are typically members.

The purpose of the Continuous Improvement Council is to share best practices in the field of structured improvement programs (TPS, Lean, Lean/Six Sigma-DMAIC, PDCA, TOC…) and to bring in subject matter experts for the benefit of all participants.  Continuous Improvement Leaders, Quality Managers, Manufacturing Managers and anyone interested in keeping ahead of the competition will enjoy this council.

This council consists of those who are responsible for the direction and coordination of manufacturing activities within their companies as well as professionals interested in the systems of a manufacturing facility. This council primarily consists of facility tours.

This council is for those individuals who are responsible for finance activities within their companies.

This council is for HR professionals from member companies. As a core constituency of MACNY, HR professionals have the oldest of the Councils. This council hosts experts discussing the ever changing technical and regulatory environment affecting human resources.

This council is made up of professionals engaged in safety, health, and/or environmental issues at their firms. This council hosts experts in the latest ESH regulations and systems.

Created for technology professionals and executives interested in the use of technology, the Tech Council provides seminars and opportunities for sharing best practices. It is also a forum for learning about emerging technologies affecting manufacturers.
