1st Annual Healthy Workforce Business Conference

Wampsville, NY – The Madison County Health Department and its partners have come together and organized the 1st Annual Healthy Workforce Business Conference.  The conference will be held on October 15, 2019 at the White Eagle Conference Center at 2910 Lake Moraine Road in Hamilton, NY.

This exciting community event was organized in cooperation with Madison County Health Department, MACNY, Madison County Rural Health Council, BRiDGES, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Madison County, Community Memorial Hospital, HP Hood, Madison-Oneida BOCES, Working Solutions, Greater Oneida Chamber of Commerce, and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

The Healthy Workforce Business Conference is an opportunity for businesses and organizations, throughout Central New York, to gain knowledge and insight into an innovative way of approaching overall worker health. Sessions include presenters from well-known local and regional businesses successful in maintaining a healthy workforce, as well as health and safety leaders offering insight into the power of retaining every business’ number one asset, its workforce.

Keynote speakers include Adjunct Professor of Ergonomics and Safety at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Jack Dennerlein, presenting the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Total Worker Health® Program; and Manufacturers Association of New York Executive Director, David Freund to provide insight on maintaining a healthy workplace that supports an overall healthy workforce.

This conference is for all business and organization types, from small proprietors to large organizations.
