Summary
Learn how Registered Apprenticeship can address the workforce needs and enhance the talent development pipeline of Long Island’s manufacturing industry. Jumpstart the process at this virtual event by connecting with partners and resources, and hear from New York State’s Department of Labor as well as national and local apprenticeship experts, including Ignite Long Island, Manufacturers Association of Central New York (MACNY), and JFF, a national nonprofit aimed at transforming the American workforce and education systems to help people achieve economic advancement.

Gain an understanding of the components and benefits of an apprenticeship program and learn what the program registration process entails. See how Long Island’s manufacturers and high schools can partner to hire and train students, building a strong talent pipeline. Then, hear about what funding and resources are available to help you.

Don’t miss the interactive breakouts, where you’ll be able to engage directly with the experts and with your peers. Get your questions answered on apprenticeship, working with youth and high schools, and available funding and support.

The event will be recorded, and the recording and presentation deck will be sent to the email provided during registration following the event.
