We’re proud to announce Nathan (Nate) Andrews, President of Morse Manufacturing, as the 2026 Manufacturers Wall of Fame inductee. This prestigious honor recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, long-term dedication, and significant contributions to the manufacturing industry and their communities.
Nate Andrews is being recognized for his visionary leadership and transformative impact at Morse Manufacturing. As a third-generation leader of the family-owned company, Andrews has guided Morse through a period of growth, modernization, and global expansion while remaining deeply committed to the values on which the company was founded.
Under Andrews’ leadership, Morse Manufacturing has strategically positioned itself as a global leader in drum handling equipment within an internationally competitive market. He spearheaded the purchase and renovation of a 120,000-square-foot facility, representing the largest investment in facilities, capital equipment, and personnel in the company’s more than 100-year history. Andrews also led the expansion of production capabilities by implementing new manufacturing techniques, including powder coating and bead blast finishing, strengthening product quality and efficiency.
As a leader, Andrews has remained committed to research and development, supporting a robust product pipeline that introduces new products each year and enables the company to deliver engineered solutions tailored to customer needs. Recognizing opportunities in the global marketplace, he has expanded the company’s dealer network across the European Union and led initiatives to secure CE certification for Morse Manufacturing products.
Andrews is known for his entrepreneurial spirit and lead-by-example approach. In the workplace, he takes a personal interest in each employee’s success, investing in professional development and capital improvements that drive growth, innovation, and operational efficiency. Through strategic planning sessions involving employees from across the company, Morse Manufacturing continues to reinforce its core values of family, leadership, safety, and pride under Andrews’ leadership.
Beyond his role, Andrews actively contributes to his community’s well-being and the region’s economic growth. He previously served as Chair of the MACNY Board of Directors from 2018 to 2022 and remains an active board member, continuing to engage with and support the manufacturing community. Andrews is also a strong supporter of Manufacturing Month (MFG Month), helping to blaze a trail in career-connected learning by opening Morse Manufacturing’s doors to the next generation of innovators. Andrews serves on numerous professional and nonprofit boards, including CenterState CEO, the Upstate Foundation, the Central New York International Business Alliance, and the Upstate New York District Export Council. He’s also involved with Scouting America and supports organizations such as the Salvation Army, United Way, and the Rescue Mission. Nominators describe him as a leader who demonstrates a deep commitment to both his employees and the region he serves.
