New I-9 Form: Effective 1/22/17 – 8/31/19

On November 14, 2016 the US Citizenship & Immigration Services released a new Form I-9 (Rev. 11/14/2016 N) to replace the prior form which expired on March 31, 2016. The new form must be used beginning January 22, 2017 for the initial employment verification of all new hires, as well as any applicable employment re-verifications. The new Form I-9 has an expiration date of August 31, 2019. The new form can be found at https://www.uscis.gov/i-9.
