Exporting can be a profitable undertaking for manufacturing businesses of all sizes. On average, sales grow faster, more jobs are created, and employees earn more than in non-exporting firms. It also offers a competitive advantage. The U.S.s is known worldwide for high-quality, innovative goods and services, customer service, and sound business practices. In December 2021, U.S. exports stood at a record high of $228.1 billion.  On top of this, the U.S. was ranked as the second largest exporter in 2022, with approximately $2 trillion in goods and services exported annually.

This adds to manufacturers participating in the upcoming Global NY Export Experts Tour. With representatives worldwide and programs offering export funding and assistance, Global NY helps New York businesses enter or expand their presence in the global marketplace. Global New York is Empire State Development’s (ESD) international division, which offers one-stop shopping to New York businesses that want to export globally.

Representatives from Global NY’s foreign offices will embark on a trade promotion tour to seven regions of New York State from June 12 – 16. Central New York will host this event on June 14 from 1 to 5 pm at Onondaga Community College. Click here if you’d like to register for the event.
