MACNY affiliate, Partners for Education & Business, Inc. (PEB), connects our member companies with schools, educates students on the great jobs available, and creates pathways for them to have careers in these industries. PEB has been doing this work for over three decades. It’s changed the lives of thousands of students and their families. Over 100 companies have engaged with PEB to educate students on the exciting opportunities in their facilities. We’ve also developed a world-class approach to creating Registered Apprenticeship programs not only in our member companies but throughout New York State. Apprenticeships attract the best talent and are a proven way to retain that talent. We can also help you recruit talent for your company with our pre-apprenticeship programs, Real Life Rosies® which promotes women in advanced manufacturing, and Advance 2 Apprenticeship which is open to all individuals and provides supports to those with disabilities as they pursue manufacturing careers. These 12-week preparation efforts have helped companies hire over 100 individuals so far, with hundreds more expected to be trained in the coming year.
