MACNY members continually contact us for information on what others in their industry are doing when it comes to holiday scheduling and PTO. With Independence Day being a Tuesday this year, many companies are considering whether or not to close on Monday, July 3 to provide an extended holiday weekend. In response, we went straight to our membership.
A recent survey of 47 MACNY members shows that 26, or about 55% of them, are closed on Monday, July 3 in addition to July 4.
