MACNY has reorganized its Marketing and Communications department to better support its statewide programs, strengthen member and community engagement, and enhance the organization’s overall marketing and communications strategy. The realignment reflects MACNY’s ongoing commitment to innovation, strategic growth, and amplification of its programs across New York State.

Deb Tilton has been promoted to Director of Marketing & Events, where she will oversee the strategy, planning, and execution of MACNY’s extensive portfolio of more than 100 annual events, while leading marketing efforts that support the organization’s training programs, member engagement, corporate service offerings, government relations initiatives, and networking councils. In addition, Deb leads MACNY’s brand development and creative direction, including visual communications and graphic design. Since joining MACNY over two years ago, she has distinguished herself through her expertise in marketing strategy, brand cultivation, and partnership development, consistently elevating the organization’s visibility, strengthening connections with members, partners, and the broader community, and driving impactful engagement.

Marissa Beck has been promoted to Director of Communications & Media, where she will lead all marketing and communications efforts for MACNY’s Talent Development division, including its statewide Registered Apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs. In this role, she also oversees organization-wide communications and media strategy, ensuring MACNY’s mission, programs, and impact are widely recognized among members, partners, and the broader community. Since joining MACNY in 2021, Marissa has been instrumental in strengthening the presence of MACNY’s Talent Development initiatives and amplifying the organization’s statewide impact.

Lauren Alexander, a Marketing & Communications Specialist at MACNY, will now focus her efforts on MACNY’s Talent Development division, where she plays a key role in promoting the organization’s Registered Apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs. Lauren brings a creative and dynamic approach to content creation, producing engaging video content and multimedia assets that enhance program storytelling, social media presence, and overall organizational promotion. She has been invaluable in elevating MACNY’s programs and connecting more effectively with audiences across New York State.

As the newest member of MACNY’s Marketing and Communications team, Marti Feyerabend, will play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of MACNY’s events and training programs as a Marketing & Communications Specialist. Marti brings valuable experience from her previous role as Digital Marketing Manager at SKY Armory, where she led digital engagement initiatives and developed event promotion strategies that significantly increased visibility and audience participation. At MACNY, Marti will leverage her expertise in digital marketing, content creation, and event coordination to expand program reach and deepen engagement with members and partners.

Marisa Norcross, MACNY’s Chief Operations Officer, will lead the Marketing and Communications department while overseeing operational strategy and organizational initiatives. Over her 11-year tenure at MACNY, she has held a wide range of leadership roles, driving transformation that has strengthened the organization’s programs, expanded its statewide reach, and elevated its digital presence. In her role, Marisa brings strategic vision, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of MACNY’s mission, serving as a female trailblazer and long-standing leader committed to advancing the organization’s impact and innovation across New York State.
